Biography of Nancy Middleton

Nancy Middleton is the president
of The Printing Place, Inc., the business she began over 30 years ago headquartered in Clermont County. Nancy has been actively involved in the League of Women Voters, Clermont County for the past 7 years immediately assuming various leadership roles. Nancy was the President of the LWVCC from 2005-2007. She has also served in the capacities of Secretary, Vice President and Program Chair as well as Voter Editor for the past 2 years. Nancy also served as chair of the Suffragists Event committee in 2004 and continues to this day as a member of the committee. She was instrumental in 2006 of renewing the LWVCC partnership with the Clermont County Chamber in their sponsorship of the Public Officials Guide.
In addition to her volunteerism with the League, as a 30-year resident of Goshen, she saw the need for an active organization for the area businesses. Nancy was a founding member of the Goshen Chamber of Commerce. She has served as President of the Chamber for the past 2 years and has served on their Gala Committee.
She has also served on the Zoning Commission for the Township. She ran for Township trustee twice and though not elected, took classes on her own time and expense to educate herself for her role on the Zoning Commission. Nancy was also a Cub Scout Den Mother, involved in Goshen Recreational Sports, the Fire Dept Auxiliary, worked the Goshen Christmas Parade since it’s inception and served as a writer for The Community Press.
Nancy served in volunteer capacities in national and international trade organizations involving her printing company. In 2001 she was co-chair of the PrintImage International Conference in Chicago.
Nancy attributes her spirit of volunteerism and love of country to her parents.
She is a devoted family woman with 2 sons and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Two of her grandsons are entering the military service this fall continuing a long-held family tradition of service and volunteerism.
