Mark your calendar now for the Twelfth Annual Suffragist Dinner which will be held on September 18, 2008 at 5:30 p.m., located Receptions in Eastgate.  We are very pleased to announce that Professor Marianna Brown Bettman will be our keynote speaker.  Professor Bettman was the first woman to win the trial practice prize at UC Law.  She was in the private practice of law until she became the first woman ever elected to the Ohio First District Court of Appeals in 1992.  It will be a priviledge and an honor to have her at this year's dinner.  The Orpha Gatch Citizenship nomination letters have been mailed to all of our members, local businesses and organizations.  If you would like to nominate a woman who has made a significant contribution to their community through volunteer efforts please go to our website and follow the links to the nomination form.  All nominations forms must be received by July 7, 2008.  You may nominate more than one person.
